CONFESSION OF FAITH. .3 We believe that it is the Scriptural^duty of the disciples of Christ to associate themselves for worship and communion ; for mutual watchfulness and im- provement ; for the administration of Baj^tism and the Lord's Supper ; and for the perpetuation and ex- tension of the Redeemer's kingdom ; and that every association of believers for these purposes is a Christ- ian Church. We believe that there will be a general resurrec- tion of the righeous and of the wicked ; and a general judgment, by the award of which the righteous will be admitted to everlasting happiness, and the wicked sentenced to misery without end.
