STANDING  RULES.
3.  It  shall  be  tlie  duty  of  the  brethren,  as  tar  as
})Ossible,  to  attend  the  nieetin<rs  appointed  lor  the
transaction  of  business.
4.  The  Sabbath  School  sliall  be  under  tlie  direc-
tion and  supervision  of  tlie  Churcli;  and  the  Super-
intendent shall  make  to  the  Church,  annually,  a
report  of  its  condition.
5.  Xo  alteration  shall  1)0  nuide  of  these  rules,  or
in  the  confession  of  faith,  except  by  a  vote  of  two-
thirds  of  the  members  present  at  a  regularly  notitieJ
meetuig  for  this  purpose.
NOTICES.
Members  who  remove  from  the  city,  or  change
then*  names,  as  by  marriage,  are  recpiested  to  aj>
prise  tlie  Pastor  or  Clerk  of  it,  that  the  catalogue
of  names  may  be  kept  as  accurate  as  possible.
Members  in  whose  families  are  cases  of  severe
sickness,  or  of  special  religious  impressions,  requir-
ing tlic  attention  of  the  l\istor,  are  requested  to
give  him  information  of  it.
Persons  desirous  of  unitini^  with  the  church,  or
of  conferring  with  the  Pastor,  are  requestiMl  to
meet  him  atler  the  exercises  of  the  weekly  lecture,
on  Tuesday  evening,  or  alter  any  lecture  i)repara-
tory  to  the  Lord^s  Supper.
