On the 20th of May, Dcac Browm was instantly killed l>y the fall of a building on which he was at work, and his associates in the Church were over- whelmed with sorrow for the loss of a man so wise, de- vont, and exemplary, 'flic vacancy in tin; Diaconate thus occasioned, was filled by the election of FRANK \V. PARDEE. In January, 1 863, DeaC. SEWARD being in the army, the Church desired to have still another Deacon, and elected to that office Edward Gillette. Rev. EDWARD II. At waii:k was installed Pastor on the 22d day of April, 18G;5; the anniversary of the institution of the Church.
